TDG Business Training announces workshops to boost small business web presence & profitability

Monday 11th October 2010: TDG Business Training, a division of TDG Network Ltd, have announced their latest series of one day ‘Grow Your Business’ workshops. They will be held on a number of dates in November, at various venues around the UK. These down-to-earth and highly effective training days are geared towards small business owners who need help with building their online business presence.

Whilst most business owners today understand the need for a company website, few know how to maximise their use. In fact, only one in twenty company websites generate any leads or sales.

TDG director Gordon Bunker says: “Unfortunately the majority of small business websites are actually a liability rather than an asset. Our workshops teach people how to cut through the ‘techno-speak’ and discover in simple terms how they can significantly improve their website’s performance”.

The workshops are to be run in conjunction with the Professional Contractors Group (PCG) and the National B2B Centre. PCG is a not-for-profit professional association that represents, supports and promotes the freelance community. The National B2B Centre provides expert impartial business,
e-business and IT advice to small-medium sized organisations. Its main focus is on increasing business performance and productivity.

In what promises to be an intensive day’s training, delegates will emerge with a new level of confidence to either implement the ideas and strategies themselves, or competently instruct the right web developers to achieve their objectives.

Ken Radford first embarked on computer training in the 1980’s, and following a successful professional career he started his own IT training business over 10 years ago. Ken now teaches the staff of major blue-chip companies in the UK, USA, Thailand, Singapore, China, Japan and Belgium.
